We are looking for a bright, hardworking person to join our growing tech team. Working on projects alongside a small team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our online surveys are a smooth, coherent experience for respondents. We have a platform built in house and are always working to iterate and improve upon it. We are looking for someone who can not only ‘execute’ projects but innovate and contribute to our process.
This is an entry level role, suitable for recent graduates. Full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Using our bespoke platform to script and launch surveys
  • Sourcing and editing images to be used in research
  • Communicating with panel providers and translation companies to ensure surveys go out to respondents in time in all markets
  • Managing tight deadlines to ensure projects launch on time
  • Communicating with project managers to understand client expectations and project requirements

Skills required

We expect the chosen candidate to have:

  • An interest in spotting patterns
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive and logical approach to problem solving
  • Familiarity with basic web technologies (HTML, CSS)
  • Confidence in communicating with others in written and spoken work
  • Excellent organisational skills

Desirable (some, or all of these):

  • Experience using basic web technologies (HTML, CSS)
  • Experience working with data in a programming language such as R or Python
  • Experience with photo editing software (Photoshop, GIMP)
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods or statistics

Person Specification:

You must be a professional, confident, personable, articulate manner and the ability to think on your feet and problem solve against tight deadlines.

Additional Details:

The job is 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri with flexible working times. We have a base rate of 31 days holiday per year and after 6 months you will be offered private healthcare with Vitality.

Our light and airy office, with a panoramic view over the South Downs, is based at the Sussex Innovation Centre in Falmer, Brighton. We currently work under a hybrid system, with staff being able to choose whether to work from the office or their homes day to day. That said, we still see the benefit in face to face interactions, so candidates who are Brighton based, or have the capacity to commute to our office, are preferred.
