Duncan Smith

Managing Director

Duncan is a pioneer of Neuromarketing with 15 years in the decision science industry having worked with a range of multinational clients in politics, product development, behaviour change and advertising.

Joe Hilling

Director of Innovation

Joe Hilling has been with Mindlab for 15 years. With a background in theoretical physics and mathematics, he specialises in the design and implementation of new technologies within the field of neuromarketing.

Juliane Beard

Director of Research

Juliane Beard is the Director of Research at Mindlab, and has extensive experience designing, conducting and overseeing quantitative implicit research.

Dr David Lewis-Hodgson

Chairman

Dr David Lewis-Hodgson BSc (Hons), D.Phil., FISMA, FRSM, AFBPsS, Chartered Psychologist.

Jim Bulmer

Non-Executive Director

Jim has a background in client-side insight leadership and business development, with significant experience in commercial partnerships, strategic planning and innovation in the b2b environment.

Megan Gibson

Research Manager

Megan has a BA in Psychology and Behavioural Science from McGill University and an MSc in the Evolution of Cognition and Language from the University of Edinburgh. She has significant experience in psychological research and risk assurance.

Lily Wolton-Carr

Research Manager

Lily has a BSc in Psychology with Clinical Approaches and a PGDip in Cognitive Neuroscience (both University of Sussex), and a special interest in neurological phenomena like synaesthesia.

Ayisha Vigneswaren

Senior Account Manager

Ayisha has a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Manchester and a professional background in Account and Event Management.

Lee Hobbins

Business Development

Lee carries with him the burden of being a lifelong Birmingham City supporter and as such he takes failure in his stride. He still loves to DJ despite a stint in Ibiza although his modelling career is on hold.

Emma Vaughan

Development Team Lead

Emma has a strong background in Mathematics and has worked in a variety of roles within the digital sector leading to a diverse range of experience in graphic design, web development, digital and traditional marketing.

Marilena Adamidou

Operations Manager

Marilena has a BA in Business Management with Specialisation in Marketing and an MA in Marketing and Consumer Psychology. She was born and raised in Cyprus, but has lived in France, Croatia, and now in Brighton.

Tom Short

Developer

Tom has a Bsc in Mathematics from Cardiff University and is looking forward to developing his technical skills while at Mindlab. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, travelling and live music.

Josie Conway

Analyst

Josie has a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Brighton and a MSc in Data Analytics from the University of Glasgow.

Clare Thatcher

Account Manager

Clare has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Sussex and has worked in research and insight since 2015 across a number of different sectors.

Natalia Gensieniec

Account Manager

Natalia has a diverse background in marketing, advertising, and public relations. Born and raised in Poland, she now lives in Brighton.

Llewellyn Deeprose-Morrison

Lead Experiment Architect

Llewellyn joined Mindlab in 2021. He graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.

Nia Clark

Senior Research Executive

Nia has a BA in English Language and Linguistics. She likes cooking, travelling, badminton, true crime documentaries and volunteering.

Vasiliki Loukaki

Research Executive

Vasiliki has a BSc in Biology with Psychology from the University of Sussex, having graduated first in her cohort.

Thalie Knights

Randomness Manager

French bilingual Thalie has an MA in Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. When she is not singing for her supper, she works for Mindlab as our Administrator, dealing with random matters.

The team at Mindlab were really responsive and supportive and communications were great. The story was really clear in the report and feedback was actioned really quickly and effectively. We had a great working relationship and we are really happy with the results.
