Duncan Smith

Managing Director

Duncan is a pioneer of Neuromarketing with 15 years in the decision science industry having worked with a range of multinational clients in politics, product development, behaviour change and advertising.

Joe Hilling

Director of Innovation

Joe Hilling has been with Mindlab for 10 years. With a background in theoretical physics and mathematics, he specialises in the design and implementation of new technologies within the field of neuromarketing.

Juliane Beard

Director of Research

Juliane Beard is the Director of Research at Mindlab, and has extensive experience designing, conducting and overseeing quantitative implicit research.

Dr David Lewis-Hodgson

Chairman

Dr David Lewis-Hodgson BSc (Hons), D.Phil., FISMA, FRSM, AFBPsS, Chartered Psychologist.

Charlie Howard

Lead Data Analyst

Charlie has an MMath in Mathematics. He has worked at Mindlab since graduating in 2017, and is now the Senior Analyst, primarily focusing on statistics, data visualisations and database design.

Jim Bulmer

Non-Executive Director

Jim has a background in client-side insight leadership and business development, with significant experience in commercial partnerships, strategic planning and innovation in the b2b environment.

Dawn Harris

Research Manager

Dawn Harris has an MPH (University of Sheffield) and a BSc (Hons) Neuroscience (University College Cork) with a special interest in behaviour change.

Megan Cross

Research Manager

Megan has a BA in Psychology and Behavioural Science from McGill University and an MSc in the Evolution of Cognition and Language from the University of Edinburgh. She has significant experience in psychological research and risk assurance.

Ayisha Vigneswaren

Account Manager

Ayisha has a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Manchester and a professional background in Account and Event Management.

Lee Hobbins

Business Development

Lee carries with him the burden of being a lifelong Birmingham City supporter and as such he takes failure in his stride. He still loves to DJ despite a stint in Ibiza although his modelling career is on hold.

Arthur Mars

New Business Coordinator

Arthur has a BSc in Psychology with Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex.

Emma Vaughan

Front End Developer

Emma has a strong background in Mathematics and has worked in a variety of roles within the digital sector leading to a diverse range of experience in graphic design, web development, digital and traditional marketing.

Liam Croot

Senior Research Excecutive

Liam is a Senior Research Executive with a background in biochemistry (BSc, University of Sussex). They have worked at Mindlab for over 5 years. Liam is responsible for the writing of research proposals, project reports and client debrief documents; specialising in our brand research.

Marilena Adamidou

Operations Manager

Marilena has a BA in Business Management with Specialisation in Marketing and an MA in Marketing and Consumer Psychology. She was born and raised in Cyprus, but has lived in France, Croatia, and now in Brighton.

Tom Short

Junior Developer

Tom has a Bsc in Mathematics from Cardiff University and is looking forward to developing his technical skills while at Mindlab. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, travelling and live music.

Josie Conway

Junior Analyst

Josie has a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Brighton and is currently studying a part-time MSc in Data Analytics.

Experiment Architect

Lisa graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Sussex.

Llewellyn Deeprose-Morrison

Lead Experiment Architect

Llewellyn joined Mindlab in 2021. He graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.

Nia Clark

Account Manager

Nia has a BA in English Language and Linguistics. She likes cooking, travelling, badminton, true crime documentaries and volunteering at Brighton’s Oxfam bookshop.

Alara Kivilcim

Account Manager

Alara Kivilcim has a heavy sales, project managing, and client-relationship centred background. She has a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Sussex.

Thalie Knights

Randomness Manager

French bilingual Thalie has an MA in Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. When she is not singing for her supper, she works for Mindlab as our Administrator, dealing with random matters.

Patrick Murray

Financial Director

Patrick has a wealth of finance and business development experience gained whilst working in the Media, Transport and Logistics sectors.

Jasmin Kidgell

Account Manager

Jasmin has a BA in English Language with Italian from the University of Reading and an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Sussex.

Alaa Maygi

Research Executive

Alaa has a BSc in Biomedical Science and a Msc in Global health with a focus on intersectional quantitative and qualitative research.

The team at Mindlab were really responsive and supportive and communications were great. The story was really clear in the report and feedback was actioned really quickly and effectively. We had a great working relationship and we are really happy with the results.
